This is how a ‘traditional’ language lab would be set up using SONY Virtuoso software. The software would be installed on the existing PC network without any extra cabling or maintenance costs.
SONY Virtuoso across a LAN or WAN:
This is where Sony Virtuoso is used in multiple sites across a PC network. This allows complete flexibility of access and delivery – from a junior school to a senior school (Local Area Network – LAN) or from campus to campus (Wide Area Network – WAN).
SONY Virtuoso now over the internet:
Our new distance education module SONY Virtuoso DE now extends that accessibility over the internet. So separate schools can share one teacher, make pairings from different sites, share valuable resources and cut down on the costs of travel. Successful pilots have been run between a number of sites and the full commercial module will be available from the spring of 2010.
